SUMMARY:New Edinburgh Seniors Social Group – Chair Dancing / Fitness (CCC)
DESCRIPTION:Again offered in partnership with the School of Dance. This was enjoyed so much in the spring that we have accepted the School of Dance’s generous offer to continue the series. \nDance is BEST Seated Seniors. The class will be set to music that appeals across multiple generations. No prior dance experience is necessary. Mondays\, September 14\, 21\, 28\, October 5\, 19 and 26 from 4:00-5:00pm with teacher Sarah Hopkin. There is no fee to participate\, but pre-registration is required. Contact Fern Villeneuve at 613-238-7838 or by email at registrar@theschoolofdance.ca \n  \nThe New Edinburgh Seniors Social Group meets regularly at the New Edinburgh Park Fieldhouse\, giving senior members of our community opportunities to build new relationships and strengthen existing connections with peers.  Activities of the group are planned to satisfy the interests of participants. Regular activities include: a speaker series featuring “local personalities”; ice cream socials; dance/fitness classes; tea time; and\, luncheons. \nAll seniors\, family members\, friends and neighbours are invited to spend this time together.   \nThere is no cost to participate in most activities. \nFor more information please contact Dawn Straka at 705-930-1991 or email newedseniors@gmail.com
