DESCRIPTION:After a few snowfalls\, it’s time to get ready for the most wonderful time of the year.  The holidays are around the corner\, and with that the Crichton Community Council will be welcoming the holiday season with the annual Holiday Lights gathering on Saturday November 25th from 4 – 5 pm! \nIn the spirit of sharing\, bring finger foods to share with neighbours and non-perishable food items to share with those who are less fortunate \nThis year’s event will feature: \n\nThe New Edinburgh Community Choir\, leading holiday carols from 4 – 5 pm\nA visit from the man in red at 5 pm\nWagon rides\nFace painting\nOrnament making\nCozy outdoor fire\nHot chocolate and mulled wine for sale\n\nThe Crichton Community Council would like to make this the first evening of holiday lighting in the neighbourhood.  In the past few years\, residents of the neighbourhood have increasingly put effort into illuminating their homes\, garages\, fences\, and yards facing the back lanes. We invite all residents of New Edinburgh to put up lights before the evening of November 25th.  Let’s brighten up the long nights with some holiday magic for kids of all ages to enjoy! \nSee you at the park! \nThe CCC needs volunteers to make this event a success.
