Plant Sale (CCC)

The Crichton Community Council in New Edinburgh invites you to the New Edinburgh Plant Sale on Saturday May 9th, 2026 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM in New Edinburgh Park at 203 Stanley Avenue, Ottawa.

For more than 20 years New Edinburgh residents have purchased their plants on the Fieldhouse’s front lawn the Saturday before Mother’s Day.

The Crichton Community Council will be selling unique hanging baskets and planters from Les Serres Oli-Ève.  Proceeds support neighbourhood events and community initiatives, as well as for the purchase of equipment for public use.

Ferme Lève-Tot will be selling edible plants for your gardens and answering questions about Community Supported Agriculture.

Our community garden leader Adrian will share plans for the community garden project in New Edinburgh Park. Come learn more at an information table.

Volunteers will be leading crafts for kids and local children selling cold homemade lemonade for charity.

The CCC will be looking for help to dig a couple holes for new trees to be planted in the park.  Bring your kids, some small shovels and gloves!

Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase from the Union Street Cafe.

The CCC is a volunteer organization that provides seasonal programs and ongoing community service in New Edinburgh. Since its establishment in 1974, the CCC has worked to enhance New Edinburgh’s sense of community by activating the public spaces New Edinburgh Park on the bank of the Rideau River. The CCC acts as the steward of the New Edinburgh Park Fieldhouse and the surrounding public spaces, on behalf of the City of Ottawa, in the interest of New Edinburgh residents.
